Pittsburgh to Georgetown without sleep

I am planning a bicycle through ride from Pittsburgh to Georgetown along the Great Allegheny Passage and the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Towpath for June 26-27.  I figure it will take me about 33 hours.  I did the C&O Canal Towpath in about 18 hours on Midsummer’s Day of 2008 with the Winchester Wheelmen.  Ken Tenney, Josh Lewis,  Shawn Carrico and Nancy Morison (on a tandem), and Chris Stubbs and his wife riding SAG.  Lot of fun.  Now I’d like to try for longer.  Looking for a companion or two.  Cycling the C&O towpath at night is a lot of fun.  One night last summer, the bats were flying all around me chasing the insects attracted to my Big Bang light.  One even bounced off my chest.  Soft little thing.  Let me know if you’d like to join me.
